Tofu is high in protein. Also the isoflavones in soy foods may help decrease fat accumulation in the body.


  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped raw spinach
  • 3 oz firm tofu (if you don’t have access to tofu you can substitute it with paneer, but it has higher calories)
  • 1/2 cup canned mandarin oranges, packed in juice, drained
  • 1 Tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 oz soft goat cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt & pepper for seasoning




  1. Combine all ingredients into a salad.
